- Basic nutritional staples, clothing, foot care services
- Warmth during the coldest hours of the day throughout the winter months and a cool refreshing environment during hot summer days.
Our outreach centre also offers access to counseling and a support network in a safe, loving environment where we can further provide hope and help.
The First Light Foundation of Hope Outreach Centre is made possible by the generous support of individuals, businesses and local government. To make a donation to help our work, please
We also operate a mobile unit from the hours of 8:00am to 9:30am which seeks out individuals in the alleyways and streets of Durham region and go directly into environments known as “Tent Cities”
Our Outreach is unique, providing help and basic support during the early hours of the morning and later hours of the evening when there are few other resources in the community readily available.
We work in cooperation with other community outreach providers and centres providing referrals to other agencies and services when necessary.
